“A Time For Giving”

As we approach this Holiday Season, many of us look to the Spirit of Giving within us.  The folks at Teaberry have been looking within again and wish to let you know what they are doing this Holiday Season. 

Teaberry is hosting a “Marine Corps Toys for Tots” drop box for gift donations.  The gift drop box is for new, unwrapped gifts.  These donated gifts truly make Christmas a special time of the year for so many families in need.  This is a truly organized effort and the difference that it makes is overwhelming.  You can make a difference by dropping off a toy, or you can make a $5 donation by simply texting the word “TOY” to 90999.   Proceeds benefit The Marine Corps Toys For Tots Foundation.  A $5 charge will appear and will be payable to your mobile service carrier.  Service is available with most carriers.  For the folks wishing to drop a toy at Teaberry, be sure to pick up your “CHANCE” ticket.  The winner of the “CHANCE” drawing will receive a 20lb Turkey and a large Deep Fryer, donated by Teaberry.

In an effort to further help local families in tough economic times, Teaberry will be hosting Santa Claus, December 13^th & 14^th.  Santa will be here for photo opportunities for you.  We encourage you to bring your children of both the two legged and four legged variety.  Yep, Santa has agreed to allow you to photograph your child or pet with him.  Your cats and dogs are welcome to visit Santa. (Sorry, but Santa drew the line at snakes and reptiles).  Pictures can be taken between 11am and 3pm, both days. 

Bring your own camera and take your pictures for your Christmas cards and your photo albums without charge.  There will be face painting, door prizes and other festivities that weekend at Teaberry, but most importantly, Teaberry is giving you a chance to save money and take your own photos with Santa.
