Welcome, friends,to The Market Place @ Teaberry! If this is
your first time visiting with us or you are planning a trip to our
store, allow us this opportunity to share with you the many
great amenities we have to offer, as well the benefits we
provide by shopping locally. For us, shopping is not just an
activity, it’s an experience! In keeping with this idea, our
business model focuses on a continuous development of how we
can best accommodate our customers in a friendly, relaxing
retail environment. In November of 2010, we celebrated our
5th year anniversary with a three-day store wide event in
appreciation of our valued customers and friends, who have
contributed to the “Teaberry experience."
Look to our name—The Market Place— for the answer to the
influence we have had in shaping the local retail environment
in the business district of Cape May County. Through the
selection of merchandise and promotional events we have
organized, The Market Place @ Teaberry has emerged as an
outlet capable of catering to the individual tastes of our
customers, from the enthusiast of high-end antiques to the
frugal fashionista.
The network of vendors bring to The Market Place product
lines and rare finds to accommodate every visitor, including a
full line of Alpaca clothing products from Gibson Creek
Alpaca, one-of- a-kind estate jewelry, and a collection of
designs by local artists. Add to this The Market Place's friendly
and knowledgeable staff and an on-site, full-service café
courtesy of Avalon Coffee, and it’s easy to see why visitors
come as far as Virginia and Maryland to take part in the
experience. But it’s not just the selection of merchandise that
has separated The Market Place as one of the most
extraordinary shopping destinations in Cape May County.
The Market Place's promotional events, such as their seasonal
outdoor bazaars with gourmet food demonstrations or their
indoor store wide weekend sales have added to the experience.
The schedule of events, like the merchandise, offers something
for everybody. The events, organized by Sharon Houston-
Collins, the manager, have ranged from a carnation give-away
at Mother’s day to gold and silver expositions, where customers
can trade in their valuables for cash. “The experience “is best
shared with the community who has made us what we are,”
says owner Bill Lloyd. We invite you to take part in the
experience.
